Hi guys, this piece is from 1958. I am giggling while writing this. Notice the roulette dial (Red date wheel). Is this one of the holy grails of a day date? I've sold my regular day date for this. There is a 6611B with a Roulette dial on Chrono selling for $18,900 USD but with a leather strap. Would you price mine considerable higher? I have attached a pic of the actual watch. Please tell me your thoughts!

Is my happiness level justifiable right now?

This is a nice example of a ref 6611. From what I see, it looks original. However, the person asking $18,900 is smoking crack.

Especially since the bracelet has stretch, service history is unknown and probably no box and no papers

Haha! What do you think is a reasonable price range for this? Also does the roulette dial add any value to this? I guess to the right collector right?

Assuming that this reference, with this dial, originally came with a roulette date wheel, it won't hurt the value. However, any added value will be minimal.

If this model did NOT come with a roulette date wheel, then it will hurt the value.

The alternating red/black date wheel is less common than the standard black, so it is more desirable. But hard to put a value on that.

Don't take my word for it, but from what I understand.. These came with both date wheels, but the red "roulette" dial was produced less.. Please if anyone knows facts on this, chime in!

I know that was the case with the DJ, so it makes perfect sense for the day-date as well. With the DJ, some collectors enjoy having the roulette date wheel, but it seems to have only a modest effect on value ... all things being equal (which they never are ;)).
