A very well constructed site dedicated to a very misunderstood reference. Sure to be a great help to collectors and enthusiasts.

Why no section about the prototype dials for this reference? ::stirthepot::

I just had a look at the "Price and Value" section. I have been meaning to pick one of these up but it doesn't look likely now. When did the prices sky-rocket? Is it the "License to print money" Speedmaster name?

Was it only available with a German or English Day indication... or also a French Day indication ?

    Yes thank you
I have 4 of them and will be selling one shortly as I collected them for my research

Would love to hear from anyone who has the Liberace grail as the site needs a section on this iteration

Thank you to everyone for their kind words
Doing a few more free sites on rare low production watches one on the Seamaster 1000 so if any one can assist with photos or info I would be very grateful I have located 4 prototypes which the forum may never have seen so it should be quite instructive

Great example maybe less than 800 fully authentic versions in the world and less of this quality
