    Yeah... but.. put it at the right side at least... why cut off the 6 o'clock and interrupt symmetry of the second hand?!

    Yeah, that's a terrible date window. At least make it the same colorway as the dial so it's somewhat obscured. Or they could've had the running seconds completely obscure the "6" and keep the date window as presently executed.
    A rare misfire IMHO.

    Haha, I thought to myself, "looks great!", but that was an actual military 1918 I was looking at. Then I scrolled further down the article and...yikes.

    Its the same problem with the Autavia re release. You have such a big watch with a small movement that the sub second is already at the largest size it can go and you get stuck with a proportionally small sub second with way to much space between it and the rehaut. You have to have the date window to balance the watch.
