I've been drooling over the pictures of it for a few months. When I picked up my Speedy a couple of weeks ago, I asked at my OB about the timetable for the Worldtimer release - I was told that it's a bit delayed due to some issues with manufacturing the map on the dial.

Agree. This is next on my purchase list! I love the way this watch looks! Cannot wait to see one in person!

Way too busy for my tastes personally, but I admit I am eager to at least see one in person.

Except for the wrist shot, all the photos they took are horrendous... which is weird coming Hodinkee-- the masters of hipster Instagram shots with a Hodinkee-branded Leica.

The thickness I could deal with, but it's apparently 50mm lug-to-lug. Consistent with the 43mm diameter, but sigh... I with they had made it smaller.

The ablation process seems to be an issue with Omega, they had problems with the Apollo 8 movement treatment which is a similar process.

Overall this is a nice watch and the price seems competitive.

Too busy of a dial. I'm good with my Aqua Terra.

I travel, but not enough to support a WT reference. Not that any of my purchases have adhered to being pragmatic, but I feel better having said that either way. ;)

I like the concept and the map motif, but find it a bit awkward when set within the teak dial and distinctive/ prominent indices — it’s a clash of textures that is hard to ignore, IMO. Still, an interesting and adventurous piece, and might look more integrated on the wrist.

Funny, I thought the same. This is one of the most photogenic watches to come along in a really long time, and that was the best they could do??

Read this review this morning, like the look of it, but the case is just too big for me and the cost seems a bit much for me as well.
