    Whether that price is reasonable or not, I haven't a clue. But if these are the real thing, I suspect they are quite valuable in mint condition.

    Oh yeah, vintage denim, especially of the 'raw' variety is quite a big (but niche) thing, with even new brand jeans costing quite a bit! I remember a few years ago everyone and they dog just had to have a pair... ::psy::
    The japanese are very into it, both in the vintage department as well as their own new brands. Interesting thing, most of the high-end japanese denim made nowadays, is done so using old/antique American looms.

    Ive seen insane prices on old dirty pairs pulled from silver mines in Nevada dating back to the 1800's...it is indeed a thing. These are not much different than NOS watches with original hang tags....except

    sadly these are worth more with the tags on them...so you can't even wear them.
