I was in a crap mood last night, having just came me home from seeing the "travel doctor" (code for vaccination salesman) and feeling thoroughly ripped off. I read that post, was just about to lay into him, but then bit my tongue.....

Wise move. I should have done likewise.

I'd had a few nice stouts and saw that so gave some advice.
In my "tired" state I didn't notice the serial number was from about 1923 and the movement was from the same period while the case obviously came from the 50s or 60s.

I was right about the crown though 😁
