Bought this Hamilton a couple of weeks back, and it still hasn't come in. Expected delivery was on the 20th, but this is all the tracking info I could get.

Depart USPS Sort Facility: July 18, 2012
    LOS ANGELES, CA 90009

Processed through USPS Sort Facility: July 18, 2012, 12:46 pm
    LOS ANGELES, CA 90009

Electronic Shipping Info Received: July 16, 2012

Did this ever happen to anybody else? I hope it's not lost!

Could be the watch gods telling you not to buy Hamiltons?

In all seriousness that's a fair delay, might be worth looking into that since LA to East Coast is usually one of the fastest transit times.

Unless the package was sent Registered Mail, I don't think the USPS will go looking for it yet. It is was, two to three weeks delivery time isn't unusual.

Sounds counter-intuitive, but Registered usually takes a lot longer to be delivered due to all the security and check-ins that the packages go through at each step of the process. If it was sent Priority Mail, you might get them to start looking at this point. If it was sent 1st Class or below...well, you're on your own.

The quality of the "service" at the USPS has been declining rapidly,

Registered can take a few days longer and NEVER shows accurate tracking info. It will arrive, though. Nothing is more secure than registered.

And isn't "Hmm...what happened to my package?" what John Bobbitt exclaimed several years ago?

I forget the details, but I think they had been fighting about Omega vs Rolex.

I'm pretty sure he had "it" sewn back on then went on to do at least one special movie that featured his special-ness.

I'm pretty sure his acting career was "cut short."

That's good news. It's in the mail stream. You should have it soon.
