    Any time the pound collapses is a good time to be shopping in the UK if you are holding $ or €

    But after reading that article about the double price increases since the Brexit vote it appears the boat has already sailed for those looking for an exchange rate based watch bargain.

    Am based in the UK.
    I bought a piece at a UK auction last week. For once I didn't mind paying the buyers premium.
    Definitely helped to offset the ER issue if I had bought a similar piece say in the US.

    It's not exactly going to be a longterm boom, is it? What happens once current stocks are sold out? Retailers have to buy their watches from outside the UK and at current exchange rates, or am I missing something?

    I bought several british milwatches a month back. If there are any watches that will be most affected by Brexit, it's probably these.
