The advertisement doesn't list the original brain from which this came. Also, the delineation between the white myelinated fibers and the grey demyelinated fibers look like a cheap knock off. Definitely fake and not even worth authenticating with your local neurologist.

 

I suspect that will go over most people's heads...........

 

Makes you wonder why anyone would brass plate it though. I mean, the cerebrum and cerebellum are the sections that gets all the press.

Under microscope I can see oligiondendroglia only in the grey matter ... confirms over polishing for me
