‘Hillman’s’ Croton Gladiator

Interesting waterproof Croton Gladiator with a ‘Hillman’s’ logo on the heavily patinated dial. I can only assume a shop called Hillman’s personalised some Croton watches at some stage. This has a four screw Brevet waterproof case and a lovely dial patina. After a service the movement fired right up and runs really accurately. Even the rubber compression gasket ring was in great and supple shape. I wear this one pretty often and it seems to suit whichever strap I fit to it.
