Looking to hear how you guys take your high resolution pictures. There are some fantastic images shared here. From expensive equipment to diy setups and show examples..... Here are my poor attempts......done with S6 camera phone, hand held and magnifier app.
I take pics on my iPhone and then post-process on Snapseed. I find that if I don't post-process, the pics are flat. How about you guys, do you need to do further work on your pics after taking them?

Photos are difficult. Direct light as well as a flash causes reflections and less light your image is dark. Indoors you need a diffuser which I know nothing about. A gentleman who always took excellent photos took them outside with natural light which I've now done for every listing. I don't have a tripod so this complicates things. I have a 3 year old Canon which is excellent for macros.
