Thanks vinn2 it's my first modern time piece my every day watch is a vintage rolexdate just 1973 grey dial a great watch ... But I'm liking the speedmaster more and more ....
That's a really unique dial, pretty cool! I didn't know they made a modern (Co-Axial) "racing" version.
View attachment 187949 i love this dial very vintage in the way it looks and on the wrist it looks great . The movement is a caliber 3330 self winding chronograph with a column -wheel mechanism and a Co Axial escapement for greater precision , stability and durability of the movement . Free sprung balance equipped with a Si14 silicon balance spring , official certified chronometer power reserve : 52 hours View attachment 187950
Welcome to the Forum @Omega1 ! Thanks for the intro and for posting photos of your watches. They're both real gems!
That is a very nice Rolex Omega1. The one thing that would put me of is the sticky outy glass over the date, but otherwise that is a beautiful watch. I am not a fan of speedmasters, but I am sure you will enjoy it for many years.
Thanks for your kind words about my datejust, I looked at many before I bought this one the pictures do not it justice It's been back Rolex and they told me that the sigma dial was in great condition I hope it will serve as well as its last owner.....
I'm sorry vinn2 not quite sure it's my first time using this forum and think I made a few mistake whilst adding some photos myself today, but I would love to see any photos you have...
Funny enough but neither am I, more of a Daytona guy myself, but I can appreciate the whole moon land thing
I do have some liking for some of the LEs and I too appreciate that others covert them so much but they just don t do it for me, the great thing about collecting watches is that there is something for everyone.
