Hey guys, I'm buying a watch from a fellow seller on this forum and wanted your guy's opinions.

This piece is 34mm with an unknown service record, works well according to the owner. Do you see any red flags and how much would you pay for the piece? Thank you in advance. You guys seriously rock.

Do you think it will retain it's value?

I don't see any red flag here. The patina is quite cool.

Up to you to do your homework.

Nice movement, tidy watch in my book and you won’t have to chase a crown.

If the watch is from a seller on this forum and it's been posted in the sales area, there's a very good chance it's legit.

A lot of watches get sold here, several times over without ever seeing the sales area. :whistling:

That’s a charming watch. Saw the listing in the sales area, and if I hadn’t too many watches already, I would give it some serious thought.

What a gorgeous example of the very first Seamaster, with a serial dating it to ~'48 too, the first year of issue. Why is that still there?

Do they have to be posts of quality or just any old shite? Asking for a friend.

I dunno. Mostly shite I guess because I haven't been invited.

    Maybe ask Eric (@efauser), I think he's a member

(Don't know how he got an invite, he posts more shite than I do).

    ;)

The movement looks *really* clean, seems to be a safe buy.
