·Here is a Heuer-branded Carrera re-edition chronograph watch, model number CS3111, from c1999.
TAG Heuer re-released a range of watches in the late 1990s with the same case shape and size as the 1964 Carrera; read more about the range on Calibre11.
The decorated Heuer-branded 18-jewel manual-wind chronograph movement is a Lemania 1873, which is also the basis for the Omega Speedmaster cal 861/1861 from 1969 until recently. It was serviced in 2017 and runs well; chronograph functions start, stop and reset crisply and the timekeeping is good.
Condition-wise, there are some wear-related marks to the case and a few light scuffs to the acrylic crystal, but it's generally pretty good. The hi-res macro photos and lighting do highlight every single mark - take a good look at them.
This watch comes on a replacement original TAG Heuer deployant strap and Heuer-branded deployant buckle (FC5012). The buckle and strap were new in 2012 and worn sparingly; the buckle alone costs €250 RRP and original TAG Heuer strap is €150 or so. It also comes with a Heuer Classics leather case and inner/outer box; these are original but not to this particular watch so no papers are included, other than the service paperwork from 2017.
I've some experience of buying and selling on here - I've had this particular watch for 4 years now, and am looking to thin the collection a little so it's time for it to move on.
The watch is in England and I'd be happy to do a face/face sale and make it available for inspection. It's also on eBay on a BIN listing; I'll offer it here at a better price, looking for £2350 including RMSD delivery to UK, €2,850 for insured delivery to EU/mainland Europe, or $3,375 for delivery to the US.
