Hi folks, Up for grabs is an amazing example of a Heuer Camaro. The watch is absolutely untouched to date. It wears all its scars and marks with pride, while the original starburst factory finish is still visible. Of course the case is unpolished, sharp and thick. The dial is in fantastic condition and changes its color from a dark, rich brown to deep black depending on the light. The orange details are bright and look great. Hands have developed a darker lume patina than the dial but both is 100% original. The movement runs strong and keeps time accurately. Start, stop and reset work flawlessly but the service history is unknown to me. Serial and reference numbers are clearly visible and correct. The price for this hard to find beauty is 4350€ plus costs. I'm located in the EU and can provide solid references. Thanks for looking. Kind regards, Manuel
My white Camaro 73343 measures 37mmx13mm case, 19mm lug width. Movement pics would help as well if possible, as well as any timing results. "Keeps time accurately" is quite the fraught term these days. From pics this looks like a great example, wish I was in the EU to snap this up.
Very nice example! Camaro is hugely underated compared to other heuer models. A great buy even for a rolex & omega fan like me!
Thanks for all your kind words. I want to add that a senior collector brought to my attention that the hands might be relumed as the different patina doesn't match what is known/common. So I step back from my original assessment regarding the hands as I'm not 100% sure anymore. Please consider this before you make your decision. I had many requests for pictures of the serial#, reference# and movement. Please find them attached.
