For Sale is an early 1970's vintage Heuer Autavia chronograph watch, black dial configuration with two subregisters and date. The watch is powered by a Chronomatic Calibre 12 movement with a 42 hour power reserve. Item is in excellent used condition, TZ Rated conservatively at 92%, with minimal scratching throughout the case, almost no aging to the finish on the dial, and minimal tritium lume loss. Includes Gay Freres Beads of Rice bracelet with correct HLF end links. The case has been expertly refinished before with all bevels, radial brushed finishes and sharp edges returned to original condition. All text is complete and clear. Original tritium lume on hands and dial, with very little loss. Original orange central chronographs sweep and main hands. Due to the lack of a running seconds hand exact timing cannot be accurately determined, but showing less than a minute loss per week; service history unknown. Case, crown, pushers, bezel, insert, dial, hands are all original. Movement, chronograph function and crown are operating silky smooth, and pushers are very solid. Reset pusher is a bit sticky but returns to original position. Mineral Glass crystal has two small scratches on the surface. Bezel turns solidly and bezel insert has very minor marks. Gay Freres bracelet exhibits minimal stretch and no broken links. Clasp is in original condition with moderate scratching, but still shows proud Heuer stamping and closes firmly and securely.
