Heuer Autavia… Jochen or not?

Hi everyone, I'm hoping a Heuer enthusiast can clarify a point regarding my Autavia 2446M. Would it be incorrect to describe the model pictured as a Jochen Rindt if it does not have the predominantly silver movement as opposed to that shown? Is this not actually the correct Val 72 for this model?

Any insights would be appreciated. fullsizeoutput_15a6.jpeg fullsizeoutput_15de.jpeg

yes it does appear the movement has been swapped out. The chrono sweep hand is also wrong and possibly the crown, but cant tell in the single image

Thanks for the response, CajunTiger… any idea where the movement might have been taken from? I haven't been able to find an image of it on onthedash or anywhere else online.
Talking of onthedash, the chronograph hand on mine looks identical to the 2446 examples pictured on there, as far as I can tell; what makes you say its wrong?
Have attached a better pic of the crown… fullsizeoutput_15a9.jpeg

wrong is relative. Not the original hand that would have come on the watch when new. The tail is fatter and more angular, which is consistent with a later hand.

Fair point… I think the change of movement is probably a more serious ´mod´! :)

    …and thanks.

I also second onthedash.com. Great resource for heuer related questions.

The fact that someone modified the bridge to (unconvincingly) say "Heuer-Leonidas" is very concerning. For what it's worth, you'll have a very hard time selling it for anywhere near FMV if you decide to part with it eventually.
