This example has an AMAZING dial! This watch has been fully serviced in August of last year and comes with the service paperwork. No expense spared, and ready to run great for decades more.
There is wear on the watch Case consistent with the age but not bad at all, and overall a very well cared for watch. Case measures 41mm (without the crown) and has never been polished. Bezel turns uni-directionally smooth and clicks are crisp. Bezel insert has been replaced for a nicer version; however, the original is included as well . Dial and hands has the original lume patina and very nice and even.
Dial and hands are original, untouched and have survived so well.
New Sapphire crystal is perfect and will not scratch.
Crown screws down nice and tight. Winding is nice and smooth. Date and time setting works exactly as it should.
A great way to grab a cared-for Monnin thats value will only continue to increase. It is quite a bonus as well to have a modern size vintage watch serviced that you can put through the passes like a modern watch; rugged and ready for daily wear.
Comes on original Heuer jubilee bracelet in vintage condition. Heuer signed clasp and diver extension. One removable link and lots of micro adjustment in the clasp, will fit up to 8” wrist.

-Full case disassembly and ultrasonic cleaning
-All gaskets replaced
-Sapphire crystal
-Full 4611 movement service
-New NOS crown and tube
Original service parts are included.
Dial:
Original, clean, excellent condition, tritium markers show patina. Original cathedral hands. Dial reads “Professionel” in French and “made in France” in English. Crystal is a replacement and has no scratches.
Case:
Case has been worn gracefully and shows very acceptable wear for its age. One shallow ding on the front case edge between 4-5 oclock and one ding on case edge at 2 oclock. Original bezel and insert looks great and clicks are crisp. Case back has been off for photos so if using for diving or water sports you must re pressure test for safety.
Movement:
G. Monnin signed Cal. FE 4611A keeping accurate time. Movement fully serviced December 2017 by Tag1000diver.com. Comes with paper work for this service.
Condition:
Watch is in very good used vintage condition! THE Heuer 844 Monnin in this condition almost never seen. Watch has been disassembled, ultrasonic cleaned, lubed, all new gaskets, movement serviced pressure tested and passed! All this service work comes with receipt and was just done on 12/22/17.
Please note I can offer no guarantee of waterproofing on vintage watches. This watch was pressure tested to 30m and passed, but for photographs of the movement the case back was off - so NOTE, if going to use for water sports or around water have it pressure tested agin.
