Hi everyone. Just posted a picture of this in WRUW but wanted to share here as well. Was drinking and eBaying a while ago and landed this Hescur dive watch. I can find no information on the brand or watch at all. Curious if anyone has any knowledge of Hescur and/or opinions on the originality of this example? It cost me roughly $200 dollars so it won't break my heart if the whole thing is lame, fake, or worse! In other words, it won't hurt my feelings if you tell me my baby is ugly! Opinions please!

    Thanks for looking. The pix........

I like the dial but you wouldn't put a display back on that one!

I've had a couple of Mortima's in that vein and liked the size/weight a lot. Yours seems to be an extremely clean example of the genre.

Thanks.....and I agree. Very clean, which has me worrying about a redial. Will have to review Mortima's for similarities and see what I can learn.

Similar to my Mortima. Not a Rolex by any stretch. But nice and light due to the stamped plate movement parts.

Sort of a Kalashnikov of the watch world. Pin lever movement was basic and reliable.

There were many watches of this type up until the quartz revolution killed off even these cheap little tickers.

Some turn up almost unused so I think your example is genuine in all aspects.

Thanks Jim. I really enjoy wearing it and the case is really sharp too. Love your Mortima!

    Off to look up Kalashnikov........:)
