Helpt identifying a vintage Omega piece

A few months ago, I stumbled upon vintage Omega watches looking for smaller sized dress /tool watches (<35mm) and have been eyeing them ever since. I have, however, been reluctant to actually buy one since there seem to be many frankens out there.

Now, I found a decent looking piece here; seller says everything except for the glass and the strap are original, ref. 6282 and cal. 490.

Thing is, I can't seem to find a single pic of a watch with the same ref name that has the same dial as this one. Is this something I should be concerned about? Honestly, I would not mind if the dial had been restored as long as it looks like the original dial. I just want to make sure this is not a Franken.

Any advice would be appreciated greatly, thank you.

Yea the dial has been repainted. If you look you can see the minute hashes are not consistently spaced (eg around 1 and 7 o’clock) and the font is far too thick, nowhere near Omega standards.

I agree. The thickness of printing is a dead giveaway.
