Pictures where removed of a watch claimed to be in hand, while another user claims to have seen the same watch traveling around Omega Boutiques.

:edit: there is nothing nefarious going on. I understand the issue. I apologize if this post is inflammatory in any way.

Yeah, it gets really confusing when you are presented more than one alternative fact :)

Poor form @thatonewatchdude to remove pictures from a thread after members have supplied some of the info you requested.

I was avoiding commenting on the watch itself but I think it was meant to be 2915-1/2. However it had a later dial with little/no lume (I think from a 105.002), and modern service hands and bezel.

Yeah, it's not the cleanest 2915 ever - was kind of shocked that the Museum had provided it.

To possibly defend the OP, he was specifically asking about the crest that was on the bottom of the bracelet clasp. That's why I was asking about his intention / motive behind the thread (since it's clearly not to sell or buy the watch).

I saw the Death Star screaming for help, and I assumed that an X-Wing and Corellian Freighter were involved somehow...

Reading it through again @oddboy has the inside track on this.. This is not the user you are looking for. Or behaviour when people give their time to help.

The crown on the buckle looks a lot like Egyptian king's crown. In most European countries the device on the top is either a tassle or a cross or a cross on an orb or some such, but on this it's a star above a crescent moon. Possibly some other country from the former Ottoman Empire?

I was going to answer when he first posted but my response would have likely run him off sooner.

What is holding the crest on? Super glue?
I thinks that is a sword not a key. The S appears to be a serpent.

It's not. I found a similar S on an Egyptian military insignia.

It looks to be a royal cipher from an Islamic country. It's a shot in the dark, but possibly Sultan Iskandar (S and I intertwined) of Johor in Malaysia? Can't find anything on the web, but here's the crown of Johor

It is definitely an S, but I think it is a snake too.

Unlikely to be a snake. Royal ciphers are almost always made up of a crown and the initials of the royal. Below is Queen Victoria's (Victoria Regina)
