Hello all please if you could help it would be greatly appreciated unfortunately I cannot post a picture of the Speedmaster I am inquiring about but it is one of the first made in 1957 and has a crest on the clasp with looks like a crown with a key going through an S, if anyone knows anything as history speaking towards the crest it would be greatly appreciated I do apologize again that I cannot supply pictures.

If you can't supply pics you'll struggle to get much help. Just click "Add Photos" at the bottom to upload pics from your phone/PC.

I really think you will not get any kind of satisfactory answer without a picture or two...

Looks like an aftermarket personalisation. No idea what the symbol is. What's the story behind the watch?

I don't think the OP is asking for opinions on the watch itself.

Err waiting for an heraldy expert at a watch forum. Can you give us any clues? Like where was the bought bought from. What country, city? Is it a one owner watch? If so is this person of some noteriety?

The dial doesn't appear to be a 2915 dial. The O and the E are wrong. It also looks like a stepped dial, not a domed one. The bezel looks like one from the 1957 reissue that's been weathered. Don't know much about the clasp. The hands look new or refinished. What is it supposed to be?

I saw this exact watch in person at the Omega boutique here in Chicago while they were having an event for the 60th anniversary 2915 re-issue.

Soooooo, how is this connected to you? Those pieces were supposedly supplied by the museum.

On spot. Might be a "pimped" 105.003 at best, depending on what's inside...

Looks like a pre 53 Egyptian crown... def put on after the watch was made....

    Notes...

Definitely from an Islamic country does not match anything Syrian or Saudi.

Crown denotes royalty and the crescent/ star is Islamic. But I'm finding no matches that relate to an S.

Could get an archival extract from Omega, I trust you have serial number(inside case on movement) and model number (inside of caseback). This would hopefully give you an delivery country.

What's going on in this thread? The original post has been completely edited away and I'm guessing there came some pictures at some point but they've gone now too?
