good evening, does anyone know about this watch and the years it was produced, how many were made, is it a rare piece. Just overall info. There’s nowhere online that has information. Personally I’ve only seen the blue dial gold Seamaster from the 90’s but never this beautiful white dial one.

your knowledge would help me tremendously

thank you

Omega Seamaster 300 Yellow Gold 41mm (168.1503) aka BA 368.1502 or BA 368.1503depedning on size...

Around 1995 - 2005
https://www.omegawatches.com/en-us/watch-omega-seamaster-diver-300-m-ba-368-1502 or https://www.omegawatches.com/en-us/watch-omega-seamaster-diver-300-m-ba-368-1503

Not common at all, my guess is price is hard to gauge not many show up, in 2016 it was under 8k usd. Keep in mind rarity and value are never linked in watches.

Both of these pictures link back to a sale site for a watch sold awhile ago. https://shrevecrumpandlow.com/product/preowned-omega-seamaster-300-yellow-gold-41mm-168-1503

This is a sign of a potential scam.

dude there’s no scam here. My name is Louis and I am watch collector from miami. Yes I used a picture that’s from a previous sale but that’s because there isn’t many options to choose from. I thought I came across respectfully and as a gentleman. Didn’t appreciate that if it was meant towards me.
Thanks for your reply

It would have helped if you had explained the source of the pictures.

We have experienced a number of "suspect" enquiries, so clarity on the part of the original poster helps overcome suspicion.

sigh…

just telling you that if the seller is using those pictures odds are it’s a scam. I assumed you where the buyer.

The number of scam sales we see using pictures from older listings is very high. It was a warning for you.

Touchy much?

Dude.

1. You've written 2 separate threads about this watch.
2. @Foo2rama wasn't making any implication.
3. You're not *new* in that you made a post last year asking about the best places to find a 321 Seamaster, but you haven't taken part in the community here at all (you've only commented within posts you've initiated, and this is the first post you've responded to at all). You were given *precisely* the info you asked for, and it was also noted that the pictures you included were from a past sale—that's all. No accusation, no anything, just that (occasionally) new folks end up here asking about a watch they're interested in, and occasionally it's revealed that the sale they've found is a scam, which scam is made clear because it uses old images.

If you're so defensive that someone (who spoon-fed you all the info you requested) pointing out a fairly banal and common danger gets you huffy, take a deep breath.

I appreciate that. I’m not really familiarized with forums or how to use it the proper way- and to be honest this is the first time I try this. I actually bought the watch with box and papers and it’s not this same exact one from the picture but another one online-and that’s why I wanted more information on it since there practically isn’t any on the Internet. I appreciate everyone in the forum

Why not post pictures of the watch you bought? And if it were me, I'd give an apology to Foo2rama...just me.

I’m not even going to waste my time responding to that

I am sorry to hear that. I almost got scammed once trying to buy a matte dial for my triple 6 SD a while back. I’ll definitely do a better job next and I do appreciate your feed back. Thank you

I think we know the odds of this... He apparently still thinks I am in the wrong lol. IDK perhaps I should not tell him the other thing he really needs to know about this watch to make sure it doesn't go in for an immediate service. You know the thing that is not in the manual that they put the bulliton out for because that thing was happening.

I don’t think anyone is in the wrong. I apologize to you and everyone if I might have caused any tension. Having said that I don’t feel I was being disrespectful in any way by saying “ I Didn’t appreciate if your comments we’re towards me” that’s not a disrespect, that expressing what I felt when I read the last part of your comment which was good, great and helpful. There’s nothing wrong being expressive and saying what you feel especially when your being called a potential scammer. Did I ask you for an apology for that? No I haven’t, and that’s ok. I don’t need one. I didn’t mean for this to blow up and create un-wanted tension.

Is there still something you need to know? I've lost the gist to be honest. If it is the date produced, it must be 1995-1997 since it has (obviously deteriorating) tritium lume plots. They were not used beyond that date. Is it rare? In comparison to the steel models, absolutely yes. But does that make it priceless? Obviously not. The steel white dial steel bezel SMP model is priced by the market way below the 2531 Bond with the blue colour scheme but this one is certainly special.

They sure are all beautiful and amazing watches. I love the 90’s 253180 SM. Strong watch built like a tank. Thank you for sharing all of this info with me. Appreciate you
