Hello

I'm interested into vintage Seamasters from the 40ies on. I see a lot of variants in the imprintings and I'd like to know more about the subject.

I wonder if some of you know and can link me some pages where I can find specific infos on them.

Thank you for your help.

There are many ways you can go about this journey of yours. Me specifically? My interests usually start from an aesthetic point. I see a watch I like and then feel compelled to start to learn all the little details about it. My advice to you would be to start with this forum: https://omegaforums.net/threads/show-us-your-seamaster.121692/

Look through the pictures. It will be a mixture of vintage and modern seamasters. When you see one you like hopefully there will be a reference number to go along with it . If not you can always message the forum member who posted it and ask. Once you have the reference number you can use the search function here to start and read up on that specific watch. Good luck!

I didn’t think any for the 40’s even had “Seamaster” on them.
