Hi all, first time poster here. Only getting into the hobby over the last 6 months.

I've found this vintage Constellation which looks great to me - but the seller doesn't know much about it -

Would really appreciate some guidance from the nice folks on here - I'd be spending around $250 dollars on this.

    Thanks!!

    Welcome @JMK89
It depends on what you want for your money.
This one is a bit of a troubled Connie.
    Heavily done redial.
    Worn medallion.
    Incorrect Replacement crown.
And the movement looks in poor condition.
    Hope that helps.

That is exactly the kind of thing I was hoping to hear, I thought the dial looked redone but was assured it hadn't been and was all original etc.

Every day is a school day!

    Thanks @Peemacgee

The rotor has also been replaced -no biggy but I’d like to see the serial no.
This is what the cross hair dial should look like 8E0E6386-EB09-464A-AC4D-D382805E9215.jpeg

stay away from this kind of watches just by looking at the dial. Unless it were on offer for $100, take it for parts for future use.

Looks like somebody used a Sharpie pen on this one.
