·Hi everyone,
I recently came across an Omega Constellation pie pan and would really appreciate your help with a valuation and originality check. I’ve attached detailed photos of the dial, case, movement, and caseback.
Details:
The movement and caseback numbers seem to match the reference, but I’d love confirmation from the experts here to make sure it’s not a franken.
Questions:
I really appreciate any insight. This one has a lot of charm, but I want to be sure I’m evaluating it correctly before moving forward. Thanks in advance!
I recently came across an Omega Constellation pie pan and would really appreciate your help with a valuation and originality check. I’ve attached detailed photos of the dial, case, movement, and caseback.
Details:
- Reference: 2852 / 10 SC
- Movement: Cal. 505 (appears correct for the reference)
- Case: Gold-capped
- Dial: Pie pan with arrowhead markers, seems original with patina and spotting
- Size: 35 mm
- Strap: Aftermarket
- Condition: Runs at about -15 sec/day (likely needs a service)
- No known service history

Questions:
- Does everything look original/authentic for this reference?
- Is the dial consistent with known original variants of the 2852?
- What would be a fair market value in the current condition (with the patina and the need for service)? It is posted for $1500 shipped or best offer
- Any major issues I should be aware of?
I really appreciate any insight. This one has a lot of charm, but I want to be sure I’m evaluating it correctly before moving forward. Thanks in advance!
