    Hi all,

Was wondering if some experts could help shed light on this Tudor. The dial has me wondering as I think they are meant to have a gilt minute track with white text, but the minute track looks white to me. Serial of 499XX dates to around 1964 I think.

    Thank you very much!

I would need more pics but so far looks a little Franken too me. Case and crown as mentioned, something about the dial looks off too...I would pass....if you buy a 7928 I would pay a premium to get it from a trusted seller, they tend to be a minefield

    Here's a close-up of my dial, serial 596xxx circa '67

Your dial looks like mine to my eye ... in the subtle points like proximity of "O" to "R" in Rotor, and shape of "G" in Winding and horizontals spacing in "E" in Self ...

Nice example, what I am worried about is I cannot see the gilt minute markers like yours. The one I am looking at seems to be consistent in tone with the white text..

Btw- what is the issue with the case? Is it that its refinished?

Anyway- staying away regardless, thanks all!

Shouldn't it be that a 1964 model is fitted with a gilt chapter ring dial?
