    Thanks for the advice. does that mean that it's not the original dial or is it that it's been re painted?

    A 60's Constellation having an original dial with sharp pie pan edges in a stainless steel case will run anywhere from $1000 to $1500 depending on the condition (assuming it's at least good) and whether or not it was serviced by a real watchmaker.

    One more question, apart from the re painted dial. Is there anything else that seems wrong about it? I can't tell.

    I can see that the rotor may have been changed it seems a different colour.

    I don't often bother looking past an incorrectly refinished dial. That's all I need to kill it for me.

    Yes, that's one issue. The lugs looks a little polished too, but not terrible.
