The condition looks consistent throughout which is “decent” for a watch of this age. I find it attractive.

The hands are all appropriate Omega hands, the crown could be original and looks good on the watch.

The movement looks fine, these movements are dependable and easy to get donor parts for.

The case looks to have been brushed up at some point but it doesn’t appear to have lost much material.

Price-wise that’s your call, seems a bit high but these aren’t watches you come across every day especially a sector dial. There are scarabs and jumbo 26.5 that will cost much more. Hard to gauge the market.

Never hurts to make a lower offer. Good luck!

Looks like it’s had the old sandpaper trick at one stage.

are you referring to the left side of the case? Is that lens blur?

I think he's referring to the whole case in general. As I don't know the full provenance of the watch, I can't confirm or deny the past polishing jobs of the case. Nevertheless, to me it looks to be in pretty good condition, and as I said I can't confirm if it has been polished or not in the past.

I am referring to the fact that at one time someone has given the case a sand with a fine sandpaper to make it look like it does. In the photo I linked you can see the telltale where the sanding doesn’t go to the end of the whole lug against the case.
