Looking at a Speedy but I’m new to this. Do these pics match up? Bezel/46xxxxxx serial/Speedmaster font etc. The tree stamp is from inside of the case back. The A. Donze-Baum company (part of the Richemont group) manufactured case backs for Omega.

Is this watch a go? Or is there some red flag here ? Really appreciate the help thx!

Check out speedmaster101.com
It’s too late for that... this is post 85.

@Julius17 what does the ilovemyspeedmaster.com say for its date?

that will tell you if it’s right or not. It seems all correct for mid 80’s or so.

thanks guys for such quick replies- Ilovemyspeedmaster.com dates the watch (movement) at Nov 1983 based on the 46xxxxxx serial number. If that's correct, and the dial font (long S and R) and tritium also make sense, is it possible that just the "no serif 70) bezel was replaced at a later date? or was that bezel also available in the mid 80s? I have not been able to find anything to definitively explain when that "Speedmaster" font was used - any help here greatly appreciated.

I don't see anything else wrong here - I'm not fussy about the bracelet, the patina looks even across hands/markers,
no box/papers. listed at 4K CAD

Re bezel your answer is here. Hint it’s modern.

Dial is correct to 1983. Not the best patina imho.

It appears the 12 hour sub dial is not resetting correctly? The 30 min sub dial may be slightly off as well.

I’ve seen this watch listed for $5k CAD, $4k would be a good deal IMO.

$4k with deteriorating lume on the hands, ugly lume on the dial, incorrect bezel, etc. is a little steep to me.

Would the seller be pointing out flaws? Lol

Keep in mind it’s priced in CAD. I’m not sure if it is faux pas here to link the watch, but it is currently listed for sale with a Canadian jeweller online for $5k CAD.

Why not it’s way overpriced for the ugly lume and incorrect bezel.

I’ve had a hard time coming across any 145.022s currently available for under $5k CAD.
