    Hello friends,
I was considering a UG purchase from a seller who had mentioned the below issue with the c.285 movement. A tooth from the Column wheel had broken off. Requesting all your expertise for advice whether to stay away or is it possible to fix? If yes how difficult would it be?

    Thanks all in advance!
    Regards

My watchmaker would have no issue with this repair.

Just realized I hadn’t posted the watch in question. Is 4K USD reasonable with this defect? What do you guys think?

It is a straight forward fix. Would require a replacement "crown wheel" and a complete strip of chronograph element of movement to replace. PM me if you need that part ...
