Hi Guys, I´ll be really happy if somebody can help me with Seamaster 300. I´m selling my Sub 16610 D-series and one guy propose trade-off with Seamaster 300 (164.024 67). I got attached pictures from the owner of Seamaster. I know those aren´t perfect but only what I have. So, what do you think about the watch. Looks like it´s overall in decent condition. For me it looks that hands aren´t original. Do you find any other replaced parts? What do you think about 1039 bracelet? Is it possible to fix it? Any other thoughts. No idea about the history of the watch. Thanks in advance! Best, Anssi
Replaced hands for sure, I'd request they hands be moved just so you can be sure "Seamaster" is proper. Gasket is toast. Should probably receive a full servicing so factor that into the trade. See if you can get a "stretch" test photo of the bracelet, looks to be stretched. Looking forward to hearing other's observations! Corrections / Criticism welcome, want to dive (hehe) into this model & learn. Best, Thomas
braclet can be fixt By a good reputable watchmaker. I would be putting aside $700-$1000 for a complete overhaul if the service history's unknown.. .
Thx for the quick and good answers! Are hands "NOS" or total different? Do you know if I can find right old hands somewhere and is it money well spent? -Anssi-
Dial and bezel look ok. Seconds hand should be painted white not steel. The other hands may be a tiny bit short but I'm not sure.
One more question. What you think that the price for that watch would be? Is "Big Triangle" good thing? -Anssi-
How were you able to determine that so quickly? I've compared both sets of hands and am having trouble seeing what you saw. Was it the black? Corrections/Criticism welcome - here to learn! Best, Thomas
