Watch movement is from early 1950’s. Condition of movement and dial are similar which is a good sign of originality. Here is information from Omega: https://www.omegawatches.com/en-us/watch-omega-other-omega-ck-2279 The 1943 date there refers to the introduction of the movement, not the production date. I believe this reference was made by Omega for many years, at least up to the introduction of the Speedmaster in 1957. Hope this helps, gatorcpa
