    Hi guys,
Warmest greeting to all of you Omega fans.
I am about to get this from a local pawn shop, kindly advise me about the authenticity and the estimate market price for it. The case back said 165.024. Sorry for the blurry photos.
    Thank you all very much!
    Harry

What’s the asking price. If it’s low it’s likely to be a good deal. The bracelet is probably $1500 on its own.

Wait a minute isn’t the 165.024 the no date version ?

The date version is the 166.024.

If you look closely at the case back markings you can see it has been marked 166.024 underneath.

It is blurry on the picture so I am not sure its 166.024 or 165.024, will take more better photo later, the cal is 565. the serial number I will need to check. Just need more info about the market price so that I can get better negotiation with the shop owner.

To me it looks ok. The dial and the bezel insert look very well preserved. the case back with double reference is also something which might occur.
    What is the asking price?

Harry has your research shown you? There are plenty of threads discussing the minutiae of the sm300's, along with numerous sales listings here and on other platforms.

You'll get a better response here if you post your own thoughts and opinions when asking for help.

If you're looking at these models that are frequently faked and frankened you need to know yourself what is correct and what isn't to give you the edge when buying.

Thank you, I am no farmiliar with the reference and I have to make the decision quick so I thought it would be quicker asking for helps from the Omega experts here in the forum. After doing some study, I think this is legit and I probably had a good deal.
    Thank you David.

Any bits in particular or all of it ? Certainly the back view of the stretch links and fixed links looks at least OK’ish. Are you seeing a problem with the clasp and/or endlinks ?

Yes, I bought it for a kinda cheap price (only more than $1k) in a local pawn shop. Seem like they dont realy know the value of this. Also the watch is not running so It will need some service b4 I put it on auction on ebay. Could you let me know what price should I expect on this, specificly?
