975 pounds is even heavier than that ploprof thing. I don't think I'm strong enough to wear that watch. Steve, I'm sure someone will move your post to the sales forum....moderators are like that. And the watch nerds here will probably tell you exactly what to expect in the way of price....esp. if you will post photos of the back and movement.

I think we'll keep this here for now, since there's not really enough information to make for a useful sales-listing. We can give it a proper title and move it over once there's more details added. ;)

Its one of the 1970s Lemania 5100 based chronographs I believe, which means parts are at least cheap and plentiful for the movement. I'm moving this to vintage as its over 30 years old

Have a good look at ebay completed listings and on chrono24 and see what they're selling for, them aim yours at the lower end of that price range as its in raw unserviced shape

I think $1500-2000 is about the money, I'd take no less than 1500.

Always wondered about these, is the 24 hour dial a true GMT IE independent setable, or is just a 24hr hand off the main hour/minute?

No, it is not a true GMT as it cannot be independently set, it simply shows 24 hour time.
