Help with my first ever watch purchase

    Hello everyone.

    I've decided on an Orient Bambino. My prefered Bambino is the V2 with the cream face with the blue dial

    I've found one on ebay here:

    What I don't quite understand is the MPN: SAC00009N0. I google searched it and it seems like it only exists on ebay?

    I thought the original version was: FER2400CN0 and the updated verison was: FAC00009W0 so what exactly is this one?

    Is the SAC00009N0 perhaps a fake?

    I just want to be sure before I part with my money.

    This source Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Networksays that the Japan Model Name : SAC00009N0 is the Same Model As : SER2400CN0, FER2400CN, ER2400CN. Take that for what it's worth.

    If you are concerned about authenticity, and as the watch is apparently still available from Orient as model ER2400CN, I'd encourage you to buy from an Orient authorized distributor. That ensures you get the correct model and whatever guarantee or warranty that comes with it. It's unclear to me if the eBay source that you link to is an authorized reseller or a grey market dealer.

    I would buy directly from Orient, if you know where to look you can get 20% from their website very easily. I would recommend the new movement with hacking if that dial variant has it available.

    Or 40% from their website using the code "Holiday16" as the case currently is. If you are not in the USA, then you might need to email them on how to get that discount.

    It says in the FAQs that orientusa are forbidden from selling outside the US, so I pulled the trigger and bought it from ebay.

    Does anyone have any experience with paying for import tax in the UK?
