Help with my Benthos 500 please

Hi guys, Just received my Benthos 500 from Thewatchguy in England who gave it a full service, so im not sure if it is a malfunction or I just dont know how to work the chronograph. It just wont stop counting. The bottom button is pressed and it starts, once again and the hand goes back to zero but only to continue ticking. How do I get it to reset and stop??? A third press just sets it back to zero once again and the ticking goes on and on.
Is there something wrong in your opinion?

The red hand with the arrow will stop after completing one revolution of 60 minutes. You can't stop it with the pusher.

It is very surprising to hear it cant be stopped, does make sense but are you sure?
