Looking for some help on a pocket watch I recently got. I believe it's around 1940s bit maybe someone else could shed some more light on it.

    Many thanks

1947-1950 is the normally accepted date range for the serial number.

With the size of the movement diameter we might be able to ID the movement.

No, but the value is in the dial.

I'll give you a provisional "it's not redone"as it's enamel. I'm not an expert on these at all.

    It's true value? See above.

    Quite a nice example.
Movement is clean and hasn't got any collateral damage from clumsy watchmakers.
The dial, with Omega's "Empire" style hands and numerals is in great condition as well.
Is that a mark near the 8 o'clock numeral?

The dial looks original - and as Foo2rama said, enamel dials are almost never redone. Tha hands look original as well. So I think it is a nice original piece, with an interesting caliber.
Thus 100L is OK - it is not a bargain though.
