    Caliber is a R17.8 but a picture of the dial side would help for identifying.

    It's a CK 2295, here in a 1943 catalog :

    It is also presented in the gold case version (OJ 2295) on Omega Vontage Database : https://www.omegawatches.com/watch-omega-other-omega-oj-2295.
    As Bubba48 said, the dial is poorly redone. You will also notice that the hour hand is an incorrect replacement. The crown has also probably been replaced, but this is less imprtant than the dial and hour hand issues in my opinion.
    I don't know what you intend to do with this information but please do not use / reproduce the above catalog scan for commercial purposes.

    Thx for the information. Will certainly not do.
    Only for own information.
    Bought the watch years ago cheap - my wife wears it occasionally with pleasure despite the bad redial and hand.

    I’ll just keep it as is but needed a bit info.
