Hi all. I just recently inherited an Omega pocket watch. The only markings I can find on it are "OMEGA" and "JLM", which I suspect was an engraving of somebody's initials. However, I don't know anybody with those initials.
I wound it and set it, and it appears to be working (Yay!). I suspect it is from the 1940's or 1950's. I also suspect it has not been touched in 40+ years. Other than that, I really don't know ANYTHING. I would appreciate any info you could provide. I'd love to know the year, model (?), care and maintenance, and value. The value is kind of important because I have to 'split' it with my siblings.

    Thank you. om1.1.jpg om1.2.jpg om2.jpg om3.jpg om4.jpg

You need to provide photos of the insides: movement, caseback, etc.

How do I open it? It looks like there is a hinge on the bottom, but I can't see any obvious mechanism to open it, and I don't want to damage it.
