Hi all, I have recently come into possession of a vintage Omega Seamaster watch. I don't know much about it, but would guess it's from the 60's or 70's (?). I have looked at many websites in an attempt to identify the exact model but seem to be getting lost along the way Any assistance in identification of this and ultimately a rough estimate of value would be greatly appreciated as I plan on selling it in the very near future. Thanks, Chris
Which watch are you asking about? The Bulova in the first photo or the Seamaster in the others? Seriously, it looks like a 168.022. Won't know for sure unless you provide photos of the movement and numbers inside the case back. https://www.omegawatches.com/en-us/watch-omega-seamaster-omega-st-168-0022
It looks to me as if it is this?? https://www.omegawatches.com/watch-omega-seamaster-omega-ba-368-0831
correct, but it has the same markings....that's why I'm having a hard time identifying this one... Thanks for your help thus far..
The drawing is generic. I Googled 168.022 so you could compare. You may have noticed the one you posted and the one I posted have the same movement. https://www.google.com/search?q=seamaster chronometer 168.022&tbm=isch&source=iu&ictx=1&fir=2uBIUlcsVNiQRM%3A%2C3vljSi0kHkuP3M%2C_&usg=AFrqEzfkcsv196YWjR_SZqUCGqf0TeGkrg&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwi11528s5DdAhUBOK0KHXe7BIYQ9QEwAHoECAYQBA#imgrc=2uBIUlcsVNiQRM:
ahh...Thanks....that makes more sense...I was trying to match up all of the markings with the drawings...
I think you're right...looks to me as the 168.022. Serial number (25371304) puts in in a 1967 mfr range I think....but....the 168.022 is listed with a "leather bracelet"...was the stainless bracelet an option (or perhaps this bracelet is a later addition)?
I would disagree. A seamaster chronometer 168.022 is quite uncommon. If you sell it for 500 usd I would buy it now!! I got his sister.
I would have to say at least $1000, could be a bit more. Stainless chronometer, probably one of the most desirable of this series.
