    (repost with more better pictures and information)
    Hi all. I just recently inherited an Omega pocket watch. The only markings visible from the outside are "OMEGA" and "JLM", which I suspect was an engraving of somebody's initials. However, I don't know anybody with those initials.
    I wound it and set it, and it appears to be working (Yay!). I believe the movement number is 9,307,784. Based on the movement number and something I found on the web, I believe it was made in 1941. I also suspect it has not been touched in 40+ years. It says "15 Jewels" on the movement and there are some other markings that I don't understand.

    On the inside of the case, there is a "KB" inside some rounded-off rectangle shape (see pictures). I believe the case also has "METAL PLAQUE OR LAMINE GUARANTI 20 MICRONS" in it. And I think the case number is 8838392

    Other than that, I really don't know ANYTHING. I would appreciate any info you could provide. I'd love to know the year, model (?), care and maintenance, and value. The value is kind of important because I have to 'split' it with my siblings.

    Thanks. IMAG0456.jpg IMAG0457.jpg IMAG0458.jpg IMAG0459.jpg IMAG0460.jpg IMAG0461.jpg IMAG0466.jpg IMAG0392.jpg IMAG0393.jpg IMAG0400.jpg IMAG0401.jpg

    Pls tell the siblings it's worthless junk and you'd like to just hold onto and use it on occasion for memento's sake.

    *edit-ps I'm joking about the worthless and junk part- it's a pretty cool watch but no clue as to the value of it... someone else will be on shortly who'll give you a better assessment!

    You have an Omega Lépine from about 1930 with a caliber 37.5 L 15p.

    37.5 = diameter of the movement.
    L = Lépine
    15p = 15 jewels or rubies

    The movement number dates to approx 1930, the case number is approximately the same (8 million series 1929 to 1935) and the 37.5 15 was introduced as an inexpensive flat caliber of 39,000 pieces produced from 1930 until 1940.

    The case is gold filled, so not solid gold. Value will not be all that much owing to the condition of the dial, but it is all original so it will interest collectors.

    You can search eBay for completed listings to get an idea of value.

    I would pay up to AUD$400 or so if I was interested but market values will depend on your location.
