Found this watch in an online forum. Dealer offers no movement pictures or much info, except that it is a 38mm.

Some research suggests that this might be a cal 265.

Can anybody tell if this is correct and whether it might be a redail?

I'd say that this is a ref. 2505 and it looks legit to me. This is not a redial.

Not 100% sure about the crown.

Yes. I'd say you're right. Also looks like Temprus was right about the crown.

I got a picture of the back as well.

What does it mean that a case is soft?

Soft would indicate the case is worn excessively and or polished.

Soft means the edges are not sharp. Normally due to being polished. Some times excessive wear.

This watch is different from the OP's watch, obviously.

Don't know what you are intending, but helping the clueless would be an option to think about.

Come on. This thread is all about someone wants to know what watch this is he has there and you know it but you don't provide straight information?

Instead of changing your avatar you should have added a closeup picture of your 2505-29.

That you all for the help!!

And what a stunning watch Petervl! Thanks for the pictures.

I decided to pull the trigger and purchase the watch. Hopefully it will come a bit closer to the condition of your watch Petervl after a service. No movement pictures were provided, so fingers crossed!

Will post pictures once it is in my possession and after it has been serviced.
