Hi all I'm a complete novice and have only just recently started in the world of watch collecting. I'm trying to put together my own version of the 'trilogy series' omegas, ones that are interesting to me. I have a railmaster 2803.52 already, the next watch that I'm after is a seamaster. I'm looking for one with a sub seconds dial, mid 50's with a bumper movement. I've been trying to research which cal was the last bumper moment made with a sub seconds dial as to me, this represent the pinnacle of this particular movement in the seamaster with the sub dial if that makes sense? The best analogy I can think of is the 1861 is now the most evolved movement born from the 861 and 321. I'd be very grateful for your time and knowledge
Not too sure about the last bumper movement, but knowing what your after the one below is worth keeping a eye out for also. Keep an eye on @kyle L Here is a Jumbo sub seconds he sold a while back. https://omegaforums.net/threads/1950s-omega-jumbo-seamaster-bumper-cal-342.72254/
Cal 344 is there or thereabouts I have a 1958 seamaster with sub seconds at 6 I cant tell you if 344 was the last bumper though
Cal. 344. Last movements were made around 1956. Probably available at retail up until 1958 or so. gatorcpa
That diagram is from http://www.ranfft.de/cgi-bin/bidfun-db.cgi?10&ranfft&&2uswk&& where you find infos about lots of movements.
