    hi everyone,

I'm buying this watch of member No Mercy,

    https://omegaforums.net/threads/5x-...atch-ref-166-020-onyx-markers-serviced.63516/

But the one thing that concerns me is after looking at the database it seems to me that the case reference dates the watch at 1962, but the movement seems to date it as 1966. Does this mean that the parts have came from separate watches?

No Mercy kindly recommended that I ask the opinion of some of the members on the forum that might be able to clear the situation up for me.

    Any advice is greatly appreciated.

    Many thanks,

    Steve

The database simply shows the date the reference was introduced.

    Watch looks totally correct.

Oh right I didn't realise that, thank you very much for helping, I've still got an awful lot to learn, constantly feeling dumb!!!

    Thanks again.

the only thing I see that bothers me is that it isn't mine!
