Help with determining year of WWI trench watch

I could use some help determining the age of an Omega Signal Corps Trench watch. Thanks so much!

Google omega serial number chart. Hard to read the movement serial, but looks like late teens.

It’s 5271356. 1916 seems a little early since this is a US Signal Corps watch. One site says 1916, but a more specific chart that was on another thread on this forum looks like late 1917, which sounds about right. Sure wish Omega had a searchable database.

6 million case number puts it at 1918 to 1925, so probably somewhere near the middle.
The movement may have been produced earlier and then assembled to the case at a later date.

Congrats on this Signal Corps Omega. Case serial numbers are used to determine the age of these early “trench” watches.
