That is a late 1960s constellation case ref. 168.016 that is probably 18k solid gold (could be 14k) with what looks like the original gold bracelet. Looks original and in excellent condition.

Wow, nice heirloom. To add to what Mike said above, that has a caliber 751 inside and was made from 1967-ish to 1971 or 1972.

Very fast answer :) Thank You. I thinh it was a gift for my grandfather from friends from work, but to me it looks like a lady watch so i dont wear it :) It is the reason for excellent condition :)

Ya, it's for ladies for sure. Since your not going to have a need for it I'd be glad to take it off your hands!;)

I could quite easily get in touch with my feminine side if you want to send it on over here ;)

That's because watches have turned into hubcaps now. Back when this watch was made, it was normal sized.

Hard to argue with you when I read that Rolex is considering changing the name if its "Air King" to "Air Queen", since most of them are now being sold to women.

That's a 35mm watch, just like this one.

However, the Constellation was designed as a dress watch for men. And a lot of real men still wear them.

So you don't have to turn in your man card just yet.

My wife wears a 36 mm vintage DateJust...and also the 35 X 35 mm Nomos Tetra, which wears quite large because of the thin bezel and square shape.

Very few people want the really tiny ladies watches anymore. For most women they are too hard to read even with good eyes...

    Cheers, Al

You may want to consider changing to a nice alligator strap, which would give the watch a more masculine look.

Your friends would be right. The gold value alone is well into 4 digits now.

    Good decision.

Couple days before I was showing my watch to a family guy , and hi sad that he know a guy who is buying old and vintage watches , and he offer me today a 4000eur for it. Is it worth so much or maybe even more .I am little suspicion about this guy

€4000 sounds like a nice price for that watch - in your favor.
