Sry pictures are too blurry but I'm almost positive it's fake. The hour markers do not line up correctly with the lume look at the 5 o clock hour marker.

OF is a Forum that is being run and kept up-to-date by Omega (and some other brands') enthousiasts.
For free.
As in: they / we are not being paid for all the information we share. Some members (not me) function as Moderators, and they will spend heaps of time on OF.
Next to that, we like each-others company, also because there are different people involved, with different temperament and backgrounds. Each individual is appreciated because the knowledge and the occasional wink that will be delivered. Tongue in cheek, anyway.
Everyone is more than welcome to share knowledge and exchange the latests insights on new watches and very old ones.
In general, that is called 'a community' or what have you.

Think of a group of guys standing in a bar, having a conversation on any subject. You might choose which one.

All of a sudden a guy storms in the bar (might be everywhere, USA Mid-West, Bangkok, East Africa, whatever) and without any introduction he starts "hey, tell me what I have and what it is worth".
Not only will he encounter most of the time the 'cold shoulder', it might also be considered quite rude, do you not think, to act like that.
