Looks polished. Factor in a $950 service if it has no knowledge of a service.
It’s often seen as a gateway to a manual wind. So my advice is save up for the real deal.
You will hear the, it costs a lot to service, it’s a modular movement. But it’s still a nice watch in my book. If that’s what you want and can afford go for it. ( but the real moonwatch is better and more favourable in collecting circles )

I bought one once and as soon as I had it in my hands I knew I wouldn't keep it. It felt like a toy and I didn't like the proportions. Buy it if you like it, not because you think you can possibly make a few hundred $ profit if you're lucky. As noted above, the case-back looks badly overpolished, so unless you know what to look for, you may be in for a surprise.
If you want a smaller automatic Speedmaster, I'd recommend looking at the date model.

If replies to my posts about my speedy reduced are any guide, I am a:
1) Cretin
2) Mouth breather
3) Lost a chromosome
4) Have dain bramage
Or
5) Have dain bramage
All of which confirms the fact that I love my reduced speedy and y'all can suck it. 😝🤪🥰🤨
Mine runs great, keeps 4 sec/day, and fits me just fine, AND I don't have to waste precious time winding manually.👍
Go for it. It'd be nice to have another speedy reduced lover on this board. That'll double the number...
🍿
I actually had this model before and i have to say i ended up selling for the real deal.. It was fantastic on my slim wrist but i kept wanting the Moon watch. I would advise you save up a little more for the big brother Moon watch
$750 for a steel chronograph, even these modular movements where they swap out the entire movement with a refurbished one.
$950 is for a precious metal chronograph.
If you buy this and want it serviced, send to Omega for the best results. Many watchmakers will just do a partial service on these (i.e., disassemble, clean, and oil the non-chronograph portions) and still charge you close to what Omega charges for a full service.

Servicing this movement with the module isn't economical on the long term... but still an interesting timepiece which I believe will keep on its value and increase in time as it wasn't produced for a long period.
However if the case is over polished you won't have a collectible piece... check carefully the side of the case to see if the polishing was correctly executed or not. It can change the look of the watch and loose its original charm.

+1 save up for the real deal. I have small wrists and at first I wanted the reduced for the same reasons that you mentioned. Save up a few bucks and get yourself a nice manual speedy. You will not regret it.
