    Hello,

I found an Omega watch I really like and i wanted some more information about it (I haven't bought it yet). Unfortunately there were no pictures of the movement because it is an auction. In the description it says that this watch needs service but besides that the movement is good and original. As stated in the title it's an Omega Geneve with a manual wind movement. The diameter of the case is approx. 35,5mm. I wanted to know what the model number is and when this particular model was produced. Also, what is the brown stuff around the glass? Is it just dirty or is it something worse?

Early 70s. Model reference inside. "Brown stuff" looks to be dirt.

What he said. It's probably fine inside and not a hotly-collected model so you shouldn't have to pay a lot for it. Factor in service costs if you are going to wear it.

I think it's a later, ref 136.0099 with a cal 1030. The Omega logo and font tell the story.

That model has an Omega engraving on the back right? This one doesn't. Is it polished off maybe?
